May Scholar-Athlete of the Month
Our May Scholar-Athlete of the Month is Manny Martinez!
Manny is a senior at East Boston High School and captain of the jets baseball team at East Boston. He comes to the Zone every day and as a result has been able to raise his GPA from a 1.67 to a 3.25. He is the consummate team player and serves as a mentor to both his friends, and his teammates. His teachers are continuously impressed with his maturity, time management skills, organizational skills, determination, and focus both on and off the field.
He is a candidate for Most Valuable Scholar-Athlete (MVSA) this semester, and has been a league star in baseball for the past two (2) seasons.
