Yaritza Otero volleyball basketball and softball
Yaritza is a senior at Excel High school who is very much deserving of the Scholar-Athlete Spotlight. Since her freshmen year she has been a three sport star, and now captains the volleyball, basketball and softball teams. She takes these leadership roles seriously, leading by example on the playing field and in the classroom. She is committed to her schoolwork and always encourages her teammates to join her in the Zone. One any given day you could find Yaritza in the Zone completing homework and helping her peers. She truly epitomizes what it means to be a scholar-athlete and a captain. The BSA would like to congratulate Yaritza on her great accomplishments. Keep up the great work!
