Carlos Ruiz - East Boston High School Soccer
Congratulations to Carlos Ruiz for being named January’s Scholar-Athlete of the Month. Carlos received numerous accolades throughout the soccer season. He was a Boston City All-Star, an Eastern Mass All-Star, a Massachusetts All-State selection,
an All-New England selection, a Boston Globe All-Scholastic selection, and a Boston Herald All-Scholastic selection. Carlos also led the state with 37 goals and 58 points. In addition to these impressive individual accomplishments he was a leader on and off the field for the East Boston Jets leading the team to a 10-6-1 record and City Championship semifinals appearance. Carlos did all of this while still maintaining a 4.0 GPA! Congratulations on an incredible year!
