The newly piloted BSA Zone Scholarship Program awarded 18 one-time scholarships of $1,500 to BSA Zone Members last night at the Scholarship Banquet held at Hibernian Hall. The evening included remarks by former Celtics player Dana Barros as well as Headmaster Rudy Weekes of West Roxbury Educational Complex. Each recipient, chosen from one of our 19 Zones, met the criteria of being a Full-Time Zone Member, having a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, demonstrated leadership qualities, and provided a letter of acceptance and proof of enrollment from an accredited 2-4 year college.
