VISION = DEVELOP LIFE CHANGING MENTORS FOR SCHOLAR-ATHLETES
The Boston Coaches Academy provides BPS coaches with access to the highest level of professional development. The innovative curriculum helps the BPS coaches develop on and off the field, and reinforce their skills as mentors.
Long term, the Boston Coaches Academy’s goal is to have the most robust coaching education program in the country, that not only develops BPS’s current coaches, but also attracts the best and brightest coaches to Boston.
The Boston Coaches Academy continually provides sport specific skills training for coaches and scholar-athletes, leveraging relationships with local universities and professional sports teams.
The Program
The Boston Coaches Academy has developed a seven (7) course curriculum that is designed to meet your needs and expectations.
These course are offered FREE of charge to all BPS coaches. For your convenience, each course will be offered multiple times per year. Upon completion of the first four (4) courses, you will receive notification that you are a Level 1 Certified Boston Coaches Academy Coach. This certification can be used as credit at Endicott College for their Master’s in Education in Athletic Administration upon enrollment in the program. After completing all seven (7) courses, you will receive notification that you are a Level 2 Certified Boston Coaches Academy Coach.
