Summer Jobs Program

BSA is proud of its partnership with The Boston Private Industry Council (PIC). The PIC is a public-private partnership that connects business, the Boston Public Schools, higher education, government, labor, and community organizations to create innovative workforce and education solutions. The PIC is the connection between education and workforce, between school and career, and between classroom and the workplace. BSA and the PIC thrive on its synergies within Boston’s Public High Schools to connect students with business and community opportunities. The result is a win-win situation: businesses develop the workforce they need and BSA members gain access to career opportunities and higher incomes. During the partnership’s inaugural summer, 178 BSA members were placed in employment by the PIC.
