The Zone Party!

In just two years, we have established a dedicated, staffed learning center inside each of Boston’s 19 public high schools. The Zone is the kind of safe, supportive place most kids can’t experience anywhere else. It’s a quiet place for them to study during and after school. They have access to work stations, computers and the internet - things maybe not available at home.

Offered to scholar-athletes for free in the Zone, tutoring is crucial to helping students make a sustained turnaround in their academic performance. They need to make the grades to play their sport, but students work closely with tutors and facilitators to aim even higher.

What happens in our Zone is nothing short of transformative. Scholar-athletes are building skills, gaining confidence, shaping character and creating opportunities for success.
